Step 1: Apply online. Candidates can apply online through the BGU website. The application fee is INR 1150/- for most courses and INR 1250/- for MBA. Step 2: Upload documents. Candidates need to upload the following documents along with the application form: Scanned copy of the mark sheets of Class 10, Class 12, and graduation (if applicable) Scanned copy of the passport-size photograph Scanned copy of the signature Step 3: Pay the application fee. The application fee can be paid online through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card or offline by sending a demand draft drawn in favour of "Birla Global University" payable at Bhubaneswar. Step 4: Wait for the selection list. The selection list will be published on the BGU website. Candidates who are shortlisted will be called for a personal interview. Step 5: Attend the personal interview. The personal interview will be conducted by a panel of experts. Candidates will be asked questions about their academic background, extracurricular activities, and career goals. Step 6: Receive the offer letter. If the candidate is selected, they will be issued an offer letter. The offer letter will contain the details of the course, fees, and other important information. Pujaya G.D. Birla Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who have performed well in their academics. To be eligible, students must have secured more than 60% or equivalent CGPA in 10th, 12th, and graduation. They must also have secured a minimum of 60 percentile in CAT 2023/XAT 2023/GMAT /MAT/Entrance Exam conducted by BGU. Government Scholarships: Birla Global University students can also avail scholarships from various government agencies. These scholarships are available to students from SC/ST/OBC/EBC communities. Merit-Based Scholarships: Birla Global University also offers merit-based scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence. These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis.

Birla Global University (BGU) has a good placement record. The university has a placement cell that works with top companies to bring them to the campus for recruitment drives. The placement cell also provides training and guidance to students to help them prepare for interviews and job placements. In 2022, the average placement package for BGU students was INR 8.43 LPA. The highest package offered was INR 22 LPA. Some of the top recruiters at BGU include KPMG, Deloitte, ITC, HCL, Axis Bank, and Birla Sun Life. The placement percentage at BGU is around 90 to 95%. This means that a large majority of students who graduate from BGU are able to find jobs after completing their studies.

Pre-placement talks: Companies that are interested in recruiting students from BGU give pre-placement talks to the students. These talks provide students with an overview of the company, its culture, and the kind of jobs that are available. Resume screening: Companies screen the resumes of students who are interested in their jobs. Only students whose resumes are shortlisted are invited for further rounds of the selection process. Group discussion: The group discussion is a common round of the selection process.
