Eligibility Criteria

i The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination.

    Syllabus

    The JEE (Main) 2023 syllabus will be the same as last year's, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on Classes 11 and 12 syllabi.

    Admit Card

    To appear in the JEE (Main) 2023 exam, the JEE (Main) admit card is a mandatory document that must be carried to the exam center. Therefore, candidates should download a color print-out of the same. It is advisable to download two copies, as one copy must be submitted at the exam center.

      Exam Day Guidelines

      You need to carry the following items before leaving for the examination centre: .JEE Main admit card 2023 along with self-declaration. .A simple transparent ballpoint pen. .Additional Photographs to be pasted on the attendance sheet. .Personal hand sanitizer. .Personal transparent water bottle.

        Exam Hall Prohibited Items

        Electronics/Gadgets: Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices will not be allowed in the exam hall. This includes Mobile Phone, Ear Phone, Microphone, Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder etc.

          Exam Timing

          The entrance examination will be held over a few days, with two sessions each day: morning (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and evening (3:00 PM to 6.00 PM). JEE Main Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be administered in two shifts.

          Answer Key

          The JEE (Main) 2023 answer key will be released at the official website- https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/

          Result and Scorecard

          To download the JEE(main) 2023 result cum scorecard, candidates can visit the official website and use their login ID and password. The scorecard will include the candidate's raw scores (sectional and overall) and percentiles (sectional and overall). Candidates can download the PDF of the scorecard by clicking on the download option under the scorecard section.

          Exam Score

          The JEE Main 2024 Result for the January session will be made public in February. The All India Rank (AIR) will be considered for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, SFTIs, and other institutions. This result will determine who is eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam.
